Frankly, I don't give a rats fucking ass that they've banned my chat....it's not the first time, I think I'm on my 4th suspension.  I won't be able to use my cool new avatar, given that the emotions don't work either, but oh well....you know....

when I was a kid, if I fell down due to some stupid monkeying around that I was doing...god forbid if I started to whimper...because my dad would come out and say " You want to CRY...let me give you something to cry about!", and he'd take his belt off, and I'd go diving under the bed....so, in that context.....

Fuck FullTilt, Fuck their stupid Chat ban rule, Fuck their selective way of enforcing it, Fuck the deuchbag that "turned me in" and Fuck the fucking horse they rode in on!

Stick that where the Fucking Moon doesn't shine!!!

SNG Grinding

Nothing on the MTT front this week, in fact, I've both been playing subpar and running bad.  Thats a formula for a crappy run obviously.  I admire those MTT players that can consistently put up the numbers, but one thing most of those guys have in common is the volume that these guys put in.

Luckily for me, I've been able to fund my MTT addiction via SNG's.  I have played what seems like a bazillion of these since joining FT, mostly a combination of 1 Table, HU & 45 man.  So far this month I've been running pretty good in the 1 Table:

There has been much written and analyzed on how to properly play 1 table SNG's.  I think for the most part, this type of game has been solved.  The good news is that there is still many players playing these, that have no clue.

In other news, for those of you that like the high stakes play on FullTilt, the Durr challenge has started.  Should be fun keeping tabs on these guys.  Here's an interesting Interview with Ivey, where he talks about the challenge.  4 tabling 200/400 is pretty sick when you think about it...then again when your these guys, it's par for the course.

Weekend ups & downs

I think the real highlight of the weekend was my success in the satellites.  Leading up the this past weekends events, I won a bunch of FTOPS seats, probably to half of the events.  I only played in 4 overall, and didn't have anything to write about.  This includes yesterdays main event and the earlier knockout tournament.

In the main event, we had 7500 starting stacks, and 15min blind levels.  I noticed this morning, that the tounament didn't end until almost 8am CST.  Still, would have been nice to make a run, and I'm sure one of these days I will.  I certainly still have to work on getting out of improbable 'setup' hands. Thats a big leak of mine....I think I've blogged before, how I seem to know I'm going 'over the falls', but willingly fail to grab for the last branch to save my life!  You all have been in the those situations, where you have the 2nd nuts, and the nuts would mean your opponent would have to be holding some weird freaking holdings....and you convince yourself that no-one in a high buy-in event would ever be playing crap cards...and then you think, but wait, it was a limp pot, he could very well have the crap holding...but wait....I'm calling anyway!!!!!   Argh!!!!!

You get the picture.

However, I did have a few nice runs, although fizzling prior to any significant cash.  First up was a deep run in the 50/50 on Friday night:

\

Key hand came in a blind vs blind against tournament regular 'Wachovia'.

He had been gambling it up, and my re-raise was just a message telling him I was ready to get it in, and if he had some really crap hand, I'm sure he would have folded, but KQ was good enough for him to dance.  I think very next hand, I got A9 and shoved into the BB's AJ.

I had another top 50 finish in the 32K on Saturday night.  Let's leave that one at that.

On the 'up' side, I won another one of these:

Sadly, I final table 2 other ones as well, but was eliminated on the bubble.  Only top 6 pay in these 45 runner SNG.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

HU with Michael Craig

I played the $50 HU MTT today, and after the making the money, got to the final 8, and had Michael Craig as my opponent.  It's funny I drew him, since I've played him a bunch of times before, and I have pretty much owned him.  In fact, I have a drawerful of FT shirts, all thanks to me busting him on more than a few occasions.  During the match, I brought up how he once told me that he had notes on me, which basically said "Hits every flop"....it was tongue in cheek and all, and he's actually a pretty stand up guy, and will chat with you, even the railbirds.

Well, he got lucky on the final hand, I had A9 vs his KT, and he was graciously given two Tens on the flop, and that was that.....note his humor in the chatbox:

Huge tournament victory!

I have completely been flaming out in the Mookie...so a little Dookie win is nice.

On a different note, I started reading Gus Hansen's 'Every hand revealed' book.  So far, it's been an interesting read, I'm through the money bubble busting.   His goofy attempt at being humorous is actually pretty entertaining.....I look forward to reading the rest of it.

Hammer FTW & FTOPS recap

Nothing like finishing up a tournament win with the all mighty Hammer!

The hand prior to this one I had turned a straight while he turned 2 pair....we got it all in, and he had 20 chips left or so....where he was in all in, in the blind.  I woke up with the Hammer, and it dominated baby!  LoL

This pasts weekend was ok....I made another deep run Friday night in the 40k, finished somewhere in the top 20.  I also played the FTOPS that night, unfortunately it was limit, and I should have just unregistered after winning my seat in the crack-like super turbo satty.  In fact, I had phenomenol success in those these weekend.  I think I won 3 seats into the Sunday Brawl, which I unregistered, I won 2 seats into the Sunday main event FTOPS, which I played, and by play, I'm using that term very loosely.  Sometimes I can be a real fish, and to do so in high buy in event really puts me on full on tilt!

I hope I can have a better showing in the main event this Sunday!

The Sweet Nuts

I was playing a little 2/4 during the Triple points FT was offering, and had this fun little hand come up:

I was fairly sure he had the ace after his 'please call me bet' on the turn.  The river wasn't the best, but I do think I missed getting the rest of his $.

In other news, I busted early in the 32K.......thank god!

32K Redux Redux Redux

I know this is getting old, but I will keep chugging away.  Sooner or later I will break through.

I plan on playing the Double Deuce, and the 750K, and of course my fav above.

Good luck to all on the virtual felt!
