70/30

If you can get your opponent to commit his entire stack as a big underdog, you will do good in poker:

That is of course, unless your in the midst of running bad. That was my bustout from last nights penultimate BBT5 game. Not much to analyze, the play speaks for itself. Funny that a few posts ago I wrote about how in Blind vs Blind in blogger tournaments, I don't seem to get much credit....in fact, I'm starting to think that my image is not what I think it is! LOL!

At any rate, the information is all there, blogger tournament or not. What you do with it, is another story.

Mookie Wednesday will be the last shot to get in the TOC. I don't know who won last night, but congrats to whoever it was.

It seems to me that the pushmonkeyitis that blogger tournaments are known for has caused more bloggers to be sceptical of almost any raise or push.

Shabazz Jenkins won last night, btw.

True on that, but I don't see how stacks aren't getting in the middle regardless in this spot - columbo's not going to raise/fold this HU and flatting OOP would be a mistake.

Just not holding when you're supposed to. ul.

I know when I am playing stupid and when I just get in a marginal situation. This was the latter, I say. I don't see how I fold this hand to the BB here with an M just under 10. I mean, maybe. Certainly with an M of 20 I should get away here. But 10? I dunno.

I've reread the post, and I think that the comment about BvB in Blogger tournaments is giving the impression that I thought you should have folded. Not the case at all, it just popped in my head as I was writing. I tend to tangent in my head, and sometimes that makes it on to the blog. The reality is that I wanted you to shove, and I got what I wanted, which is why I reraised. In that situation, with deeper stacks, I would have played it differently....so I'm ok with how the hand played out, just not the result obv.
