You make the call!

Setup:

The game is $2/$4 NL Holdem. 9 Players.

Villian is UTG with $1000
Hero is on the button with $1000

For the purpose of this hand, the players have established the following table image:

VIllian is a tight semi-agro player.
Hero's image is Loose aggressive.

On the button, hero is dealt:

Villian who is UTG opens for $16
Action folds to Hero on the button, and Reraises to $48. Blinds fold, and Villian flat calls. Pot is $102

Flop :
[ ]

Villian checks Hero bets out $85 Villian calls. Pot is now $272

Turn :
[ ] [ ]
Villian checks
Hero checks

River:
[ ] [ ]

Villian bets $867 and is all in!

Does anyone make this call? This type of scenario comes up from time to time, and I'm very tempted to call. There are so many players that like to push when a made straight pops up on the board, esp if they can get there money in first, and if the way the hand plays, he puts you on big cards, as is the case here. It's a very frustrating fold to say the least.

I just can see putting him on a 6. I just can't think of anything he would have that you wouldn't chop with. Pocket 66s would be a very loose play. A6 suited red? I just don't think so...but it is a tough call.

But then again, what do I know. I've never put $1000 on a poker table. Ay Caramba!
